GET INVOLVED -

MUSIC

This isn’t an open call for DJs. We are looking for massive music lovers with a deep relationship with their art. We are not looking for safe, recycled or trend-driven sets. If you’ve built something with edge, intention, and a perspective that cuts through, please apply.

PERFORMANCE

Do you like to perform your ass off?  Do you have something fresh and new that no one has seen before?  Do you have an outrageous mind-bending costume or show?  Then lets get you signed up right away, you are speaking our language.

WORKSHOPS

This space is for people who have done the work and can translate that into something tangible.

We prioritise bodyworkers, facilitators and practitioners with demonstrated experience across areas such as psychedelic education, wellbeing practices, nature-based learning, food and body health, and creative or craft-based disciplines (e.g. pottery, jewellery-making, kite building, and other hands-on practices).

Submissions should reflect a clear, original approach and the ability to deliver meaningful, grounded experiences.

MASSAGE THERAPISTS

Our intention is to create a professional, nurturing and high-quality wellness space where festival attendees can receive meaningful bodywork, rest and care throughout the weekend.

CONSTRUCTION/BUILD

We’re building Skydance from the ground up.

That means carpenters, builders, welders, drivers, machine operators and anyone keen to jump in and learn by doing and be part of it.

There are both paid and volunteer roles, depending on your skill set and how long you can commit for. You can come for a few days or lock-in for the full build and take on a paid role.

It’s big days and not big money, but you’ll eat well, be looked after and work alongside a tight and fun crew building something real.

OPERATIONS/CREW

This is not an entry-level intake.

We’re looking for people with real festival experience, operators who’ve worked across departments and know how to manage pressure and teams.

Managers, 2ICs and staff across site, production, traffic, waste, gate, stage managers, logistics, marketing, office and comms.

It’s still a boutique build, so the pay is modest, the standard is high.

If you can lead, support, and hold your lane, it’s a chance to step into something that’s growing fast and take a real role in shaping it.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers support the day-to-day operation of the event across areas such as gate, info tent, traffic, kitchen, office, art and construction and general site assistance and all the in-between spaces.

No experience needed. Just presence, reliability, and a willingness to contribute.

Volunteers receive access to the event in exchange for their time and support and sometimes even meals depending on your role.  You give a bit of your time, and in return you’re part of the fabric of it.

MARKET/FOOD STALLS

The market sits at the heart of the village.  The village is the heart of Skydance

We need good and nourishing food. Real ingredients and cultural depth.

Clothing, jewellery, hats, eyewear, art, craft and pieces with texture and intent that don’t feel like they came from a catalogue.

We’re growing carefully, bringing in a small number of vendors who add something real to the landscape. For now, space is offered gratis.  Only a nominal fee for high power use setups to help compensate for the diesel and some meals for our operations crew that work during the event if you are a food stall.

MEDIA

We’re looking for photographers and videographers to document Skydance with intention.

We’re interested in people who can capture atmosphere and moments as they unfold.

Most roles are exchange-based (access and passes in return for content), with limited paid opportunities for post-production and editing.

If your work has a distinct eye and you know how to move through a space without interrupting it, you’re welcome to apply.

PILOTS

You know who you are ;) Make sure you have your SAFA#.  Fly high and fly safe.

ART/INSTALLATION

Visual arts is the name of the game here.  From freaky sculptures, to abstract painters, to mind-bending video mappers and beyond.  We are seeking the sleek, the outrageous and the bold.  We are a festival in the sky so think insane sunsets, mountain and wind.

If you can make your art move in the wind we will love you all the more.
